Pregnancy-Related Pain
Pregnancy is an amazing journey where the mother to be experiences an abundant amount of changes to her body. From changes to the hormones circulating through her body and resulting changes to her musculoskeletal system, the mother to be can experience pain throughout her body. Common areas where women experience pain include; lower back, middle back, neck, hips and shoulders.
Osteopathy is one way where the mother to be can relax and take some time for herself. At The Reform Lab Osteopathy, we have pregnancy pillows which allow the pregnant woman to lay on her stomach comfortably whilst treatment is being performed to her back, hips, legs, neck or shoulders.
We are very passionate about giving women the most up to date research on why exercising during this process is not only beneficial but recommended for both the mother and baby. At our clinic we have a lot of equipment and space to perform evidence based exercise to improve outcomes not only during the pregnancy journey, but during labour and post-partum recovery.
